The Back Up Pact

Has any of you have a guy or girl who is your back up when you hit a certain age? I'm talking about having a guy or girl that you would marry immediately if the both of you are still single at a certain age. Just like what Julia Roberts had with the guy in the movie My Best Friends Wedding

Yes, there was this guy whom I made that kind of pact with when I was in my senior year in high school. Not sure that would ever happen or if he still remembers it since we've lost contact with each other a year after graduation

Made that sort of pact with a female friend. That we would live together once we're 40 and still single. It is more of a companionship thing and not anything romantic.
