What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up

What was your dream job when you were still a child. And has any of you tried to have that job? The first job that I wanted to have as a kid was a dentist and it changed several times as I grow up.

It was being a ballerina. Didn't try to pursue it since my parents told me that being a dancer can't put food on the table.

Did your parents tell you what job you should pursue? Or they didn't care what that job is as long as you're going to end up earning enough?

You should have pursued being a pole dancer because it's guaranteed that you'll earn so you can put something on the table lol.

I always wanted to be a model when I was a kid but the problem is my height so I gave up and focus myself on something else.

What was your second choice when you gave up on your dreams of being a model?

I also wanted to be a runway model when I was a kid and was watching it way back on our television.

CupcakeTasty My second choice was a tour guide and it's far better and I enjoy it.

I used to want to be a chef as a child since I grew up watching my grandparents cook and I often helped them when I'm staying at their place.

For me, I've been wanting to be a chef right now after watching cooking shows on youtube.

What made you decide to stop pursuing it? You already have a good background for it since you've watched your grandparents cooked as a child.

Mine were the basic ones that seems to be cool like being a doctor or an astronaut. Obviously, I ended up being neither of them since I'm terrible when it comes to memorize or recall stuff.

Just admit that you were not fond of studying growing up that's why you didn't pursue any of them lol.

I think that being an interior designer is good enough. At least you're sure that the house that you're going to build for yourself would look great.

Do you regret taking interior design or you're happy that you've took that course?

I wanted to be a botanist as a child and it was ruined when I realized that I was allergic to pollen lol.

Was that the only reason why you didn't try and be a botanist or there were other reasons behind it?

Well you can still be a botanist if you really wanted to. You just have to wear a mask whenever you're out in the field.

I've always wanted to be a screenwriter or director but decided when I realized that I can't think of really interesting stories to tell.

Why not try and find online classes for writing or attend an actual writing class? That might help you in developing original stories.

It's also difficult if you only knew dirty things to portray and just be a porn director lol.

I wanted to be a trapeze artist when I saw them perform in the circus. Didn't do it when I realized that I have acrophobia aka fear of heights.

If you really want to perform in a circus without worrying about heights then just do baton twirling or be a clown.

Why didn't you try and overcome your phobia in order to be a trapeze artist?

My dream was to become a physician as I liked the sight of a doctor with dangling stethoscope. When I was a child I always idolized my mom who is a doctor that's why I also want to be like her.

I also dream of being a doctor because of the instrument they used then become afraid when I saw the injections and tubes.

I really want to be a vet once I grow up for being caring and compassionate about animals. I love my pets but I chose to be a pharmacist for loving chemistry so much and wanted to become a health professional.

What got you interested in chemistry? Was it the show Breaking Bad? lol

I wanted to be a cop as a child but decided not to when I realized that I can't shoot a gun properly.

Did you practice holding and shooting a gun? And did you try shooting range?

It's pretty easy and all you need is practice and guts to fire it on someone.

Do you often wince or look away when you shoot a gun? I bet if you've practiced often when you were growing up, you would get over it.

Actually, when I was a kid I always want to be a superhero like batman or spiderman fighting the thugs and henchmen. As I grew up I've watched a lot of CSI shows and thinking of being an FBI Agent but I don't like to be beaten up and be shot by a gun.

You should have still tried and get a desk job in the FBI if you're afraid to get hurt or shot.

When I was a child I always wanted to be a nurse because I got a lot of baby dolls before and got medical toys or what you call them and treat them as my patient.
