I love it when tips in magazines work! Don't you? So I was reading some dating tips in Cosmo and there was a whole list of makeup tips for dates. Now, I love wearing lipstick but it sucks for going on dates or hooking up because lipstick tends to get everywhere. If I wanna get hot and heavy, not even lipstick is gonna keep me off a guy but it's a pain in the ass to clean off—myself and him! So anyway, the magazine suggested switching to a lip stain rather than a lipstick. Have I been living under a rock for the past few years? I'd never come across stains before! But I hit up my local shop and found a really pretty stain. The name is NOT a lie because it definitely stains. Best part is, it doesn't come off! Recommend your fave stay-on lippies!

I hate to break it to you, but I think you have been living under a rock! I LOVE lipstains. They've been part of my arsenal for years. Welcome to the addiction! My fave brands are Tarte and Bitten. They're a little more expensive but they really do stay on... no matter what you're, ahem, eating.

I always shop at Sephora. You can't beat all the brands and the staff there are really super smart and always happy to help. Get thee to a Sephora and check out their products! If you are starting to love makeup, you'll literally die.

You should also try out matte lipsticks! I used to always go glossy but a pal recommended I try matte. I always thought they would dry your lips but if you get a good brand they actually don't! You get incredible colour and nooooo smudging. None! Some brands have just as much staying power as a stain and the colours can be a bit brighter/more bold. My fave is NYX. They have stand-alone stores you can check out! Also the prices are reallllyyyyyy good.

Exactly! Makeup makes me feel super empowered and beautiful. But it's all up to the individual gal. Some love it, some hate it. Don't try to make us conform to YOUR idea of what a woman should look like! Heck, some men even like wearing makeup and that's okay too!
